A love story unlike… well, actually like many others. It was 2022, and fed up with online dating, Claire had decided to go on just one more Hinge date before deleting the app for good. Luckily for her, she had just added skiing as one of her favorite hobbies on her profile. As you may have guessed, Cole had a type: skier. Also luckily for her, actually being good at skiing was less of a dealbreaker. After a couple of weeks of back and forth, Cole suggested they meet at Russell’s for a drink. Their first date in early April 2022 went well enough, and six days later, they went on their second: a surprisingly good snow day at Crystal Mountain Resort. Cole pretended he didn’t have a terrible foot cramp the whole time, and Claire pretended her stomach bug wasn’t that serious. Smiling through the pain paid off for them both, as a few days later Cole introduced Claire to some of his closest friends at his friend Jack’s birthday. A week later, Claire introduced Cole to her friends at her own birthday. What can we say, April is a great month! The next three years were filled with epic ski adventures at 11 different resorts, romantic beach vacations in four different countries, and countless wine tastings throughout.

Speaking of April…. Cole officially popped the question April 24, 2025 at Magnuson Park in Seattle, a day before Claire's 30th birthday. Cole & Claire are so excited to get to celebrate their marriage in June 2026 with their family and friends, and sincerely hope you can join.
