Get the meatballs. Reservations recommended! Tacos Valentina / Torn Label Brewing - Tacos & beer, what else do you need? Barbacoa - For my foodies, we love her. If you happen to go be sure to sip on a salt & lime (their version of a margarita and it's fantastic). Clay & Fire - Cute old house turned restaurant, highlighting food from the Near East Region. All the cozy vibes. Reservations recommended for indoor seating, but patio typically reserved for walk-ins! Double check their socials. El Patron - Our go-to Mexican place when we have the itch. Muni - Unique restaurant fusing Thai and Mexican flavors. We get the Gapow Beef Empanadas every time we go. The French Market KC - Where Claire goes when she is feeling nostalgic.

They happen to serve margaritas and cocktails as well. Alma Mader Brewing - This one is for you Lenny. Jim's Alley Bar - Neighborhood bar with great vibes. Intimate space, so you are lucky if you get a spot! River Bluff Brewing at River Market - Another frequently visited brewery by Claire & Brett. Goat & Rabbit - Located in the 39th St neighborhood, a great place to try craft cocktails. Thou Mayest - This coffee shop also has a plethora of espresso martinis!
River Market - Has a farmer's market on both Saturday and Sunday! Accessible via the Streetcar. Has plenty of coffee shops, dining, and stores to wander through. Crossroads - The crossroads covers a span of downtown, but for those who favor craft beer and/or bar hopping you will want to find your way to brewer's alley! Start at the corner of 18th and Oak St and walk east down 18th. You will find a variety of bars, breweries, restaurants and even distilleries to discover! Westside North - A small neighborhood just west of downtown accessible by car. This is where Claire's favorite coffee shop is, as well as some quaint local stores to shop through. If you happen to visit the coffee shop or one of the restaurants in that area, we recommend taking your time strolling through the neighborhood for a digestion walk. There are many beautiful homes to admire in that area!
