Things To Do

Washington has quite a few bars and restaurants for a small town. Some of our favorites are the Old Dutch, the Tilted Skillet, the Landing, and Bud's American Pub. For a nice glass of wine paired with some delicious appetizers, Oak and Front is a must. Old Bridge Brewing Co. has a variety of home brewed beer and kombucha. If you are willing to drive a little further for a delicious steak or pasta dinner, the Hawthorne Inn in Labadie is our favorite! Olivino is one of our favorite spots in town - they have delicious oils and vinegars galore. The best part: they make cocktails from their vinegar. Don't knock it till you try it, trust us! Wine Country is on either side of Washington in the quaint towns of Augusta and Hermann. Augusta is the closer of the two, but you might find more to do in Hermann. Both are beautiful and the drive showcases some prime Missouri scenery.
