FAQ

If you have any additional questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Hannah or Andrew! We will add questions to the FAQ as they come.
Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about their little ones, we request no children under the age of 16 at the wedding ceremony or reception. We do have nanny options for anyone during the ceremony & reception, so feel free to reach out to Hannah or Andrew if you are interested!

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is cocktail attire, but keep in mind it will be hot! For ladies, we recommend a summer cocktail dress and for men a linen or lightweight suit. A jacket is not required. The ceremony and dinner will also be on grass, so keep that in mind for heel choices!

Question

When do we need to RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on the website by February 7, 2025.

Question

Do I need a visa to travel to Greece?

Answer

As of now, you should not! ETIAS Authorization for Greece begins in 2025, but will not begin until ~June, so June travel should be okay. We will let everyone know if this changes, but application is fast and easy if so!

Question

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

While hotel room blocks are not as common in Greece, if you are interested in booking a group villa, feel free to reach out to our planner (nmeventscrete@gmail.com) to help coordinate! We have also listed several hotel options in the travel section, but all hotels in Rethymnon will be easily accessible if you choose to stay elsewhere.

Question

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

No! Our gift is you traveling all the way to Greece to celebrate our special day with us.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Please double-check that your passport is up-to-date.

Question

Rethymno or Rethymnon?

Answer

You may see both Rethymno, Rethymnon and Rethimno when booking your travel. Each way of spelling are correct. Rethymno is how the Greeks would say it and Rethymnon including the ‘n’ is the more formal way.
