This is a black tie event. Formal attire is requested, although tuxedos are not required. No jeans please.
The Marriage Ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 p.m. Please plan on showing up 20-30 minutes early to say hello to one another and find your seats. Thank you for being considerate of our start time.

There will not be a shuttle from the ceremony to the reception. We highly recommend car pooling from the ceremony to the reception as parking is limited at the reception venue.
Parking is abundant at our ceremony venue, but limited at the reception venue. Please consider taking a taxi or car pooling from the ceremony to the reception.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors. However, if weather permits, we'd love our guests to enjoy the beautiful courtyard at our reception venue, the Sunshine Mill.
We have hired a wonderful wedding photographer! We ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony. We ask this so our wedding photographer can do the best job possible as cell-phones and cameras can quickly get in the way. However, snap away at the reception! And don't forget to hashtag #CarterDownTheAisle!
