What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets & slacks Roads you walk will be packed dirt outside of the tent. We suggest you wear flats, wedges, thick heels, or boots. Do not wear stilettos :) there will be stairs to climb.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Temperatures last year were around High of 76F and Low of 51F. Typical to the desert weather, it’s warmer when the sun is up and colder when the sun goes down.

What is the terrain like?

Answer

You will need to drive about 1.5miles of un-paved roads to get to Oracle Hills Farm (our Venue/CJ’s parents farm). The roads/paths you walk will be packed dirt and at times uneven. We suggest you not wear five inch stilettos ;)

Can I take my non-suv car there?

Answer

Yes! We have tested the roads with Aaron’s Toyota Camry, and you will be fine in any vehicle with the same or more ground clearance. We also see many Prius' zooming those roads all the time.

Will there be land marks to help me find my way?

Answer

Yes! There are a few small street signs that tell you what road you are on, but aside from that, we will put up balloons to guide on your path.

Are there street lights?

Answer

No, there are no street lights. We will be lighting up the venue with various string lights and spot lights. The road out is very dark at night. We will put up reflectors and little solar powered garden lights to help light your way home.

Indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will take place up a hill. There will be stairs to climb. For those who cannot walk up the stairs we will be shuttling people up and down the hill as well. The reception will be at the bottom of the hill inside an enclosed tent. You will need to use the stairs to climb down; if not, we will be shuttling people down the hill. There will also be an open area with couches, bar tables, and lawn games you can enjoy.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence is all we wish for and will be gift enough! However if you are feeling particularly generous, our registry is the fourth tab on our wedding website.

Do I need to bring anything?

Answer

Nope, just you and a fun time :) We will be doing a “money dance” so if you wish to bring single bills, that’s fun too. If you know what it is, we will provide the pins you’ll be using.
