Aaron and CJ first met in the high school cross country team in the summer of 2008 when Aaron was a junior and CJ a freshman. They began dating in the summer of 2012 before CJ started college at Cal Poly Pomona and Aaron was back in Burbank for summer break from UC Berkeley. What was a cross country team get together/reunion at the beach ended up being Aaron and CJ’s first date on August 15th, 2012. They have been together ever since. Aaron and CJ moved to Sunnyvale, CA together when CJ began working at Lockheed Martin in May 2018. Aaron also eventually joined Lockheed at the end of the year. They purchased a condo together in 2019, just in time before the COVID-19 pandemic arrived. With travel lockdowns altering Aaron’s plans, he proposed to CJ on August 15th, 2020 during their 8 year dating anniversary camping trip to Lake Oroville. On that day, CJ had caught two striped bass and her future husband; Aaron had caught a few rocks and his future wife. Soon after, they welcomed their first family member, Bandit, on August 29th, 2020. The three have since been a happy and strong pack, continuing to grow and learn with each other. They are excited to officially become a family on May 7th, 2022 after 10 years of being together.
