Lindsey and Michael first met at Northeastern's MBA student orientation in 2016 and were assigned to the same first-semester group project team. A friendship quickly deepened but it was not until the New Year of 2017 that Michael gained the courage to ask Lindsey on a date. The two accepted MBA internships in New York City later that year, where they fell in love while exploring the city, dining in Manhattan restaurants, frequenting Broadway shows, and attending sporting events. Following graduation in 2018, Michael took a job in Toronto and Lindsey in a corporate rotational program that moved her to D.C. for a year before returning to Boston. Traveling and exploring new places together have quickly become a collective passion. Lindsey and Michael have been fortunate to visit places as far as Buenos Aires and Prague, and many places in between. In May 2019, Michael proposed on their favorite walking path in Central Park during a weekend trip to NYC. Since getting engaged in May 2019, they have been apart in the U.S. and Canada, and travel has been a major part of their lives to see one another. Lindsey and Michael started as best friends before dating, and that has remained constant throughout their journey. They have been through the highs of life including job offers and buying their first home in Boston's Beacon Hill. There have also been challenges including navigating the U.S. immigration process and being apart for several months during the U.S.- Canada COVID border closure in 2020-2021. Though the journey has not been easy, it has taught them to never take a day together for granted. Their love for one another has helped them get through anything that has come their way. Lindsey and Michael are delighted to celebrate their wedding and are honored that many friends and family will travel to be part of the day. They cannot wait to start their lives together in Boston.
