Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who will be walking down the aisle with us!

Amy Luskin

Maid of Honor

Amy is the sister of the bride and also her best friend. They share a lifetime of memories together, from endless hours of playing Crash Bandicoot Warped and Spyro to dangling treats in front of their dog Simba so he would pull them on a sled to numerous sister road trips. Amy moved to Austria in 2017, and since then there isn't a week that goes by without a FaceTime, especially if there's a new episode of Riverdale to watch. While it's difficult to live so far apart, their bond never falters. And although Amy is the younger sister, Elise has always looked up to her.

Kate Cipriano

Best Woman

Kate is Evan’s younger sister, one of his best friends, and the “best woman” who will be standing at his side on his wedding day. From a very young age Kate idolized her older brother, even developing a shared interest in all things Evan loved like video games, professional wrestling, and rap music. Fortunately over time Evan’s interests matured, and he and Kate now enjoy visiting craft breweries, slurping bowls of spicy ramen, and spending time with their parents and family dog, Dempsey.

Julie Luskin

Bridesmaid & Officiant

Julie is Elise's cousin, close friend, and an absolute karaoke queen... just ask her to preform Proud Mary. Elise and Julie are known to tare up a dance floor. Julie was the one to pass Evan a note at the Hong Kong that fateful night (which is now framed in Elise & Evan's apartment). When they were younger, they couldn't pronounce each other's names and were commonly known to each other as Jewelry and Maurice.

Jake Lang-Rubenstein

Groomsman

Jake is Kate’s fiancé and soon to be Evan’s brother-in-law. Like any new boyfriend being introduced to his girlfriend’s older brother, Jake was met with much skepticism from Evan six years ago, but over time the two have become best friends. Jake is a fellow craft beer nerd, an organized crime enthusiast, and is known as a “dog whisperer” amongst his friends and family. He and Kate live right around the corner from Elise and Evan and the foursome have spent many a weekend trying new craft beers, bingeing shows on Netflix, and playing with Elise and Evan’s dog, Daisy.

Aishling Farrell

Bridesmaid

Elise met Aishling their freshman year at Fitchburg State. They lived 2 years together at college and then they were roommates again in their late 20s until Elise moved to London. Aish is an amazing dog & plant mom with an infectious laugh. Their past times include drinking frozen margaritas, watching Say Yes to the Dress over a morning coffee, and eating late night Chinese at their Quincy kitchen table and laughing until their sides hurt. Once they drove to Chicago just to see a movie.

Nicco Roffo

Groomsman

Nicco and Evan have known each other longer than either one of them can even remember. Born just two months before Evan, the two became instant best friends as soon as Evan returned from the hospital to his house on Cedar Street in Holliston, right across the road from Nicco’s. These two have always been as thick as thieves, with one nursery school teacher going as far as suggesting to their parents that they cause too much trouble together and shouldn’t be friends. Fortunately that suggestion was ignored and these best friends have gone from pedaling their Little Tykes cars in the driveway, to playing countless hours of backyard soccer, to living together after graduating college.

Amanda Armstrong

Bridesmaid

Amanda and Elise met at Fitchburg State in 2009. Elise and Aish knocked on her door because they wanted to meet who lived in Aish's old room, and they've been friends ever since. They ended up being roommates in college. They love walking through the Brimfield Fair looking for unique finds. Amanda took Elise to her first Bruins game. And since then they've gone to countless games together and even drove to Chicago to see the Bruins play the Blackhawks at the United Center.

Ali Roffo

Groomswoman

Even though she’s also from the small town of Holliston, Evan didn’t meet Ali until he was in college, at which point she seemed to pop-up everywhere that Evan and Nicco went. Whether a random bar or even a Celtics game, Ali always seemed to cross paths with the two best friends, to the point that they were a little worried she was stalking them. Over time Ali became one member of a close-knit group of Evan’s friends (including Nicco, Pat, and Katie) who in their early 20s spent many a Thursday night competing in trivia at John Stone’s Inn and then bar hopping in Boston on Friday and Saturday, followed by crashing at Evan’s apartment. Most importantly, Ali became Nicco’s girlfriend, the love of his life, and eventual wife.

Brian Hennessey

Bridesman

Brian and Elise met as freshmen at Fitchburg State. For the next four years, they hosted "Under the Radar," a show they ran for Fitchburg's radio station, WXPL 91.3. Brian introduced Elise to Kyle Mooney at a bar in LA, where Kyle Mooney famously asked for her phone number and she replied, "1234!" For the past ten years, Elise and Brian have had a tradition of gifting each other a ceramic gingerbread house. God only know where it'll show up next...

Pat Lindberg

Groomsman

Around the time that they were heading into kindergarten, Nicco and his family moved from Cedar Street to a house on the other side of Holliston. It must have been kismet because shortly thereafter, Pat moved into a house on Cedar Street and Evan instantaneously had a new best friend. Pat and Evan shared a love for Power Rangers which quickly turned into an interest in all things sports. Over the years Pat and Evan played soccer and basketball together and spent countless more hours playing video games with one another. That said, the two share a love for soccer more than anything else, especially their beloved Liverpool FC.

Curtis Page

Bridesman

Elise met Curtis as a freshman at Fitchburg State, however they didn't become friends until a year and a half later when they were walking back from a party with a group of friends. A stranger was walking closely behind Curtis and Elise, and she leaned over to him and said "Looks like we have an Ethan situation on our hands", a reference to Curtis' favorite show, LOST. Since then, Curt and Elise always go see the latest horror movies. They love to craft in Curt's living room.

Katie Raabe

Groomswoman

Evan and Katie met in the awkward middle school years (there’s a photo of them going to a school dance together to prove it), falling into a mutual friend group that would remain in-place through graduating from high school. After leaving Holliston High, Katie and Evan both went to Northeastern University where they remained close friends, sharing a love for going to Red Sox games together at nearby Fenway Park. During their senior year of college they became an unstoppable trivia duo, spending Thursday nights at John Stone’s Inn with Pat, Nicco, and Ali. The group has been the closest of friends ever since, always there to share life’s biggest moments with one another.

Daisy

Flower Girl

Daisy is the newest member of the Cipriano-Luskin family. Elise and Evan adopted her on July 25, 2020 and she quickly nuzzled her way into their hearts & laps. She is the sweetest girl and quite the foodie. She likes: snuggling on the couch while watching Netflix, sleeping, and stealing bones from her cousin Lily & uncle Dempsey. She dislikes: when she's not the center of attention (she's a Leo), squirrels, and trashcans.
