Café Manolín is a Creole cuisine restaurant established on San Justo Street in Old San Juan more than 70 years ago. Its founder and first owner was Don Ernesto Ruíz, who later sold it to his brother Manolín Ruíz. In 1987, Café Manolín was acquired by the current owners, Annie Rivera and Tomás J. Molina, who continued operating it in the original location. Fifteen years later, they acquired the building at 251 San Justo Street, with much larger and more welcoming facilities.

Castillo San Felipe del Morro (also known as “El Morro”), perhaps the most iconic fortification built by the Spanish in the Americas, covers a 140 foot-high promontory at the entrance to the Bay of San Juan. This fortress consists of 6 levels facing the Atlantic Ocean, all of which were designed to create a devastating artillery fire over enemy kk ships.
