What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Arriving 30 minute before the ceremony starts is best.

Are the ceremony and reception at separate places?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both at the same address and both take place at the property. The ceremony is (weather permitting) outside behind the house, and the reception is going to be in the barn.

Can I stay overnight at the property?

Answer

There is only room to accommodate the wedding party and those who were invited to stay in the house. If it were big enough, we'd certainly have everyone!! We hope that the hotel options will be sufficient for those who are traveling.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is a whole lot in the front of the venue allocated for parking. There are signs upon your arrival pointing to where the parking is.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire/semi-formal! This does not include jeans. Please dress your best for this special event.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. If it showers, we plan to wait until the rain stops. If it rains, we will have the wedding in the barn. Please bring an umbrella just in case!

Please bring your children! If your child was not mentioned on your invite, please contact us so that we can plan for the right amount of people.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Because of the size of the venue along with our budget, we are not planning for anyone to bring a plus one unless it was specifically mentioned on your invite.

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Alcohol will not be provided at the wedding. Since our venue is a private Airbnb rather than a licensed facility, guests are welcome to bring their own if they wish. We simply ask that everyone enjoys this freedom responsibly and helps us keep the celebration fun and safe for all!

Can I take photos throughout the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we’d love for everyone to take as many photos as they’d like! While our wedding isn’t unplugged, we kindly ask that you stay present, soak in the moment, and enjoy this special day with us. Also, feel free to post anything you'd like from the big day!

Where can I RSVP?

Answer

We kindly ask that everyone RSVP through the link provided on the invite which can be found on the RSVP section of this website. This ensures that all RSVPs stay in the same place, making it smoother for our planning. Even if you've spoken to us about coming, please RSVP regardless of who you are!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by May 1st, 2026. However, the earlier the RSVP the better.

Are pets allowed at the venue?

Answer

There is one pet allowed at the venue, and this will be Lyric, the husky. Lyric will be inside of the house. Pictures of Lyric can be found in the wedding party section of the website. If you are allergic to dogs, text 540-394-8617.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The areas where the ceremony and reception are taking place are both wheelchair accessible. Assistance will be provided to those who use a wheelchair and need to enter the house.

What shoes should I wear to the venue?

Answer

The terrain is on grass, and we don't know what the weather will be like. Because of this, we ask that you plan to wear your best-dressed shoes, but recommend that an extra pair is brought for your convenience.

Does the barn have climate control?

Answer

Yes! The barn has climate control and a surround sound system for music.

"It is not letting me RSVP online, what do I do?!?"

Answer

Each person's name is on our list as "invited", and if you type in your name differently, or if we spelled your name wrong, it won't let you RSVP because the system won't recognize that name. Try using nicknames (ex: Abby instead of Abigail) and vise versa. If it is still not working, please contact Destiny at 540-394-8617, and we will correct it.
