Olivia and I are cousins, and ever since I can remember, we've always got along since the very beginning. I really enjoy all our doggie dates at Ping Tom Park. One of my most adorable and unforgettable memories was after our doggie date, we wined and dined with our furbabies at Sushi Taku. I can still remember when Max was still tiny, he was too short to reach the table, so he kept jumping, hoping to get ahold of some sushi. Olivia has a very bright and outgoing personality. She gets along well with others. She would always initiate conversations and keep the conversations going. I always feel comfortable with her and can always express my true feelings.
Alan Kuang

A master of pastry, a bike enthusiast, and a good friend. I have known Alan since high school, and we both attended the same college and church together. The first time I met him was also when I first arrived in America. I approached him at the end of the music class because he was perhaps the only Asian in the class; little did I know, this encounter became an everlasting friendship.
Ying Chun Mei

Ying and I have known each other for over 10 years. Our significant others were roommates and that was actually the reason why we became close friends. We would drive together to their apartment and hangout. We would cook together, and I learned to cook some delicious meals because of how great of a cook she is. From there, we really bonded over our love for food. One of the best memories I have with Ying was when we traveled to Asia together. Honestly, it didn't matter how far our adventures brought us as long as we could experience different famous local foods. Ying is a supportive and understanding friend who I can always lean on. She would always take time out of her day to listen to my struggles and would always understand the things that I am going through.

Living with Li An was one of many wonderful times I have with him. The countless hours on Overwatch, the shouting during an Overwatch match, and the many beers we drank together. Whether it is offline or online, there would never be a short of fun with Li An. So many accidents happened during our first 160 miles bike trip around Illinois, but we pushed through it with Kenneth.

Li Yu and I have known each other for over 10 years. We go to the same church and have a lot of mutual friends, so we just clicked right away. We would always hangout and that’s how we became close friends. I remember all 5 of us would have deep talks in my room being vulnerable with each other and that’s how we got to know each other better. Every year we would celebrate our birthdays. And every year, I’m always looking forward to it, cherishing every moment together. Li Yu is very considerate and hard-working. She’s someone who puts others before herself. She is really good at understanding others from their perspectives. Sometimes, I wish she can have some time for herself and take a break from her busy schedule.

I have known Henry since high school, and we became friends during our college year. If you ever need a gym buddy, Henry will be your best man. Beauty and the beast are probably what I will use to describe Henry, the muscle of a beast and a handsome face, and he is a beast on a basketball court.
Jeoly Mei

Jeoly and I have known each other for over 10 years. We first met at a church winter retreat and we became close friends right away. We love to travel. One of my best memories of us was when we traveled to Thailand, and I had food poisoning from the raw shrimp. It was so bad, I was immediately admitted to the ER. Aside from the whole food poisoning, we were so impressed with the staff at the Thailand hospital. They were wearing Thai traditional clothing and sandals and were incredibly friendly. Jeoly is very sociable and easy to approach. She has the brightest smile and always bring positive energy to the group. She has lovely dimples when she smiles.

A talented radio host, rock star, and BBQ master. Whenever you long for a good BBQ, Darren is the man of the hour. Other than the good BBQ, he also loves rock music. He took me to my first Gun N’ Rose and foo fighter concerts and it was legendary. Darren always has good recommendations on music whenever you need something new to listen to.
Qi Li Zhou

Q and I have known each other for over 10 years and first met at a church winter retreat. We became close through our common friends because we would always hang out, and that’s how we got to know each other better. One of the most memorable moments was when we all slept over at Jane's and we stayed up late chatting for hours. We talked about anything and everything. We don’t see each other often, but when we do, I value every moment catching up with each other. Q is very straightforward, something I love the most about her. She’ll call people out when they are in the wrong and always be straight with her own feelings. I can always trust her as a friend because she will always be honest with me.
Bin Bin Lee

Bin is a man of nature. Hiking the mountain and visiting the zoo in Thailand with him was fun and unforgettable, especially when we had to ride in a stranger’s car to get to Chiang Mai because I booked the wrong ticket. Instead of flying to Chiang Mai from Bangkok, we ended up in Lampang, a town famous for horses. I would not have survived in Thailand without Bin.
