McGhee Tyson Airport - TYS
If you'll be traveling from NJ/NY, we recommend looking into Allegiant Airlines. They offer affordable direct flights from Newark Airport to Knoxville. While they offer the best rates, they are typically limited with flight dates and times (they usually offer morning flights on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat). McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) is located about 30 minutes from Townsend, where our wedding will be held. It's a scenic drive with beautiful mountain views!

Rental Car counters are located on the lower level of the TYS airport terminal building near baggage claim. Counter hours vary based on the company. We highly encourage you to make reservations in advance to guarantee transportation once you arrive at the airport.

Tremont Lodge & Resort
This is where we'll be staying. Our venue is located just a few minutes up the road. A shuttle will be provided to and from the venue on our wedding day for any guests who stay here. Any guests staying here are welcome to join an Outdoor Movie Night we'll be hosting on March 25th. Continental breakfast is included. The resort features an indoor pool + hot tub, 2 outdoor pools (may be open, weather permitting), a pool bar, and other amenities!

Dancing Bear Lodge Townsend
If you're looking for an elevated and luxurious lodge, we recommend checking out Dancing Bear Lodge. It's located about 5 minutes down the road from our venue. Please note, a room block discount and shuttle service will not be provided for guests staying at Dancing Bear Lodge.

Townsend has tons of wonderful cabins and AirBnbs, many within close proximity to our venue. We also recommend taking a look at all the available options in the area if you prefer to have your own retreat in the mountains or plan to stay with a group.
Shuttle

A shuttle will be provided for guests staying at Tremont Lodge. The shuttle will be parked in front of the main lobby and will make several trips up to the venue starting at 2:30pm. The shuttle will also offer rides back to Tremont Lodge starting at 10:00pm. Please note, Ubers and Lyfts are limited up in the Smoky Mountains. If you prefer to utilize a car service to get to the venue, bear in mind tha availability may be very limited after the reception. Parking is available at the venue if you prefer to drive. We ask that you please drink responsibly and coordinate a designated driver if you will not be utilizing the shuttle or car service.
