Bride
Born and raised in the heart of Houston, Texas, I grew up with a love for adventure—riding horses and four-wheelers at my childhood home. My creative side led me to become an Interior Architect, but before that, I spent 15 years dancing, starting at just three years old. Fate (and St. Pius X High School) led me to my high school sweetheart, and here we are, celebrating with the amazing friends and family who have cheered us on for the past 15+ years. When I’m not designing beautiful spaces, you’ll find me deep in my favorite obsessions—anything paranormal, extraterrestrial, sci-fi, Nat Geo documentaries, and basically anything involving planets and the unknown. My perfect night in would be cozying up under my heated blanket with a cup of hot tea, a chocolate treat, and one of my comfort shows Martin (which I shamelessly can go line for line), The X-Files or The Office. I’m a matcha enthusiast, a chocolate connoisseur, and a hopeless romantic for red roses. Traveling is one of my biggest joys—I’ve explored ten countries so far, and I can’t wait for more adventures ahead with my soon-to-be husband. I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this special day with the man and people we love most!
Groom
Born and raised in Houston, Texas—Acres Homes (the “Fo-Fo”)—I’ve always had a love for music, food, entertainment, and bringing people together. At just six years old, I started playing instruments and singing in the choir, which laid the foundation for my lifelong passion to be on stages of influence. It was at St. Pius X High School where I met my high school sweetheart, and while I was never the best athlete (Ciera still noticed me), I was always in the mix—playing sports and joining clubs just to have fun and build relationships. After high school, I took my talents to Howard University (HU, you know!) where I got involved in GODSC, student government, and became a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. When I’m not working or in the gym, you’ll probably catch me traveling, hanging with friends, or deep in conversation—aka “politicking”. As a true Houston foodie and grill master, my favorite way to spend time is entertaining family and friends, whether that’s throwing down on the grill or finding a speakeasy vibe somewhere in the city while sipping on a French 75 or Negroni. I’m excited to celebrate this moment with my wife-to-be and the people we love most—so let’s eat, drink, and turn this city up the Taylor way!
