Hotel recommendations?
Answer
* The Drake: We have a limited block reserved at the Drake (see the Travel section of this website), which is also where the Welcome Party and Farewell Brunch are hosted. The Drake is in the Magnificent Mile neighborhood of Chicago, which has many other hotels to choose from, so take your pick. * Hotel Lincoln: For a hotel that's even closer to the wedding and reception venues, check out Hotel Lincoln for a more vintage, eclectic vibe.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We have the following recommendations for each event: Welcome Party: Cocktail/semi-formal. No jeans. Wedding Ceremony and Reception: Formal attire, but make sure you can dance! By "formal attire," we mean suits and preferably long dresses; if you have/want to wear a tux, that is welcome but by no means required! Brunch: Casual.

Parking?
Answer
For information on parking at the Drake, refer to their website: https://www.thedrakehotel.com/explore/amenities Ceremony: the church parking lot has approximately 50 spots and is located near 632 West Kemper Place. There is also a parking garage nearby at 2330 North Lincoln Avenue. Reception: free valet parking will be available, and street parking is also free (but in high demand) along North Stockton Drive. There is also paid parking in the zoo lot (closes at 11pm).

Is there transportation to the ceremony and reception?
Answer
There is a shuttle to St. Pauls departing from the Oak Street entrance of the Drake Hotel at 3:15pm. After the ceremony, another shuttle will be available to take guests from St. Pauls over to Cafe Brauer, although seating will be limited. Otherwise, it is a quick Uber or a 20-minute (1 mile) walk. There will also be transportation provided from Cafe Brauer back to the Drake. The last shuttle will depart at 11:30pm.
