Things To Do
With most of the Wedding between Hilltown and Newcastle it's a great chance for people to see a bit more of what county Down has to offer.
Newry is the biggest town in the area (a city to us!)
A car is great if you want to explore the area but plenty to see and do in the different towns and countryside also.
Mourne Mountains

Lots of levels of walks, Hen Mountain is a nice one to start and kid friendly, it's right in Hilltown. Slieve Donard is the largest and the largest in Ulster, 7th highest in Ireland at 850metres (2,789 feet).
Kilbroney Park

Be sure to check out the 'top' car park, and the Cloughmór stone. Then wander around the side of the mountain to Kodak corner for a breathtaking view of Carlingford lough.
