Suggested day trip for those interested in seeing other towns. Only 5 minutes away by train ($10/trip). Also, an optional hike will take you there! But wake up early. Hike "tickets" are available on the train app or at the physical train station
Nessun Dorma
The most amazing pesto class! Reserve this in advance (aka as soon as you can). Absolutely worth every penny (about $80/person when we went) but be warned there is a steep hill to get there.
Buranco Winery
Nearby vineyard. Walkable from town for dinner but a bit pricey and a lot of stairs. Really good wine though (although, all of the wine here is good).
Monterosso public beach (Fegina)
The beach! Be sure to arrange for chair rentals with your hotel or arrive early AM to reserve!
La Bottega del Fritto
Good for a quick fried calamari by the beach!
Il Massimo della Focaccia
Foccacia is a specialty of the region. Definitely grab a piece for a mid day snack, or a sandwhich for a light lunch on the beach.
