In the bustling city of Abu Dhabi, where cultures collided and dreams converged, a chance encounter would forever change the lives of two souls destined to be together. This is the story of how Cian from Cork, Ireland, and Meaghan from Pittsburgh, USA, found love amidst the vibrant tapestry of their lives. It was September 2020 when their paths first crossed. Cian and Meaghan found themselves working at the same international school, passionately dedicating their days to enriching the minds of the next generation. Little did they know that their fates were intertwined, waiting to unfold a love story that would span continents and defy all odds. Their initial meeting was simple, a polite exchange of greetings and smiles as they navigated the corridors of the school. Yet, beneath the surface, there was an undeniable spark, an invisible thread connecting their hearts. They discovered a shared love for travel, a curiosity for exploring the world beyond their own borders, and a deep appreciation for the beauty found in diverse cultures. As weeks turned into months, their connection grew stronger. Chance encounters at the school's green screen room led to conversations that lasted long after the final bell had rung. They discovered their common interests extended beyond education, bonding over their love for travel, music, and the simple pleasures of life (a drink!). One evening, as the sun painted the Abu Dhabi sky with hues of gold, Cian mustered the courage to ask Meaghan out on a date. It was December 2nd, UAE National Day. Having spent many years beating friends in bowling at birthday parties in the Leisure Plex, Cork, Cian decided on the romantic gesture of a game of bowling as a first date. He was fully confident of not only victory, but of a second date once Meaghan would see his skill and precision on the alley. Meaghan paid no heed to Cian's confidence and was more focused on the drinks menu. He got his strike and also a second date, however! Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months, as their bond deepened. They embarked on numerous escapades together, exploring the hidden gems of Abu Dhabi and forging a connection that surpassed the boundaries of time and space. As they shared their dreams and aspirations, they realized they were two puzzle pieces perfectly fitting into each other's lives. In August 2022, Cian embarked on an adventure back to the UAE, carrying some precious cargo. He had approached his beloved Grandmother Liz for advice on a proposal to Meaghan. She began by pouring him a glass of vodka with a drop of soda water and proceeded to give him a special ring that had been given to her by Cian's Grandfather, Owen. Amidst the enchanting canals and cobblestone streets of Bruges, Belgium, Cian decided it was time to seal their love with a proposal. There was only one destination in mind as the ancient city is home to Cian's favorite movie, "In Bruges". With joyful tears, Meaghan said yes! Since that magical day in Bruges, Cian and Meaghan have continued to live a life filled with adventure and love. They have travelled to countless destinations, exploring the enchanting landscapes of Ireland, the bustling streets of New York City, Pittsburgh and other American States, Kenya, Zanzibar and Israel to name a few. Together, they have created a treasure trove of memories, cherishing every moment shared in each other's company. Doolin will be home to the next Chapter.
