Historic Paso Robles downtown can fill an entire day. Pappy McGregor's, Brown Butter Cookie, F. McClintock's, and much more! So many wineries you'll need to borrow your friend's fingers and toes to count....we have only been to a few, so we're not much help. Google some and see what calls your name. If you pass on the wine, Firestone and BarrelHouse breweries are less than a 10 minute drive from the venue!
Small town shops and amazing food around every corner! We could give you a page of recommendations, but we'll stick to our short list: Firestone Grill - great tri-tip sandwiches or burgers. Woodstocks Pizza - great pizza, obviously (right across from Firestone) Novo - good spot for a fancy dinner with creekside dining on the back patio Thursdays nights you'll find the famous Farmer's Market on Higuera Street.
Check out Morro Rock and see if you can spot any Peregrine Falcons diving from their nests. Go kayaking or paddle boarding on the bay, or out to the sandbar across the water. If you're outdoorsy, jump into a hike in Montana De Oro state park just south.
Check out the Historic Pismo Pier! If you're in need of a good lunch while meandering down the beach, stop by Hoagies. This is the spot for some famous clam chowder at the original Splash Cafe.
