The age old story of how a guy and a girl both swiped right on each other. Nick messaged Sammy first wanting to talk about conspiracy theories. Sammy responded with her theories about Mattress Firm and Nick enlightened Sammy on the Dulce Facility.

After a month of online messaging Sammy got fed up and gave Nick her number, which Nick took as a very subtle hint that she might want to go on a date. Their first date was at A4cade in Cambridge, MA. They instantly hit it off finding mutual interests in traveling, the importance of family & friends and their shared love for competition. Nick whooped Sammy's butt in Mario Kart, but Sammy redeemed herself in pinball (even though it is technically not a 2 player game but Sammy counts it as a win because she hates to lose).

Sammy likes to call this "the long con". For over a year Nick had convinced Sammy he hated helicopters and would never fly in one. On a semi-cloudy Saturday, Nick drove Sammy to the Norwood Memorial Airport. Confused as to why they were at a random airport, Nick walked Sammy to an open air field. Waiting in the middle of the runway was a black helicopter with a red carpet. While a professional photographer was distracting Sammy with solo shots, Nick got down on one knee and proposed. After Sammy said said yes, Nick told her they were going to get a private tour of her favorite city, Boston. The perfect ending to the most perfect proposal!
