It was just another manic Monday in Los Angeles when Chrisy got an email from her agent with news of a commercial audition: this time, for OxiClean White Revive Detergent. The next day, she woke up sick. Like very sick. Wednesday rolled around and she couldn't even get out of bed. She told her agent she couldn’t film the audition. Good news: casting pushed the deadline back to Thursday evening. Thursday came and she submitted the tape, right before the cutoff. Within a few hours, more news: casting selected her for a callback. Of course. Friday arrived and she battled traffic to West Hollywood for her callback audition. She anxiously practiced her lines in the waiting room before casting called her in. It was a full and friendly room: casting director, his assistant, the producer, cameraman and videographer. She nailed the audition then headed outside, per the director’s request, to take some still photos. And it was there, on Sunset Boulevard, as the sun set over the Los Angeles skyline, that an unlikely character entered into the story. Zach appeared on the scene. And at that moment, Chrisy realized that this wasn’t an audition at all. This was all a setup so that he could get her there, dressed in white and all dolled up, on a beautiful outdoor stage as Friday’s final rays shone on her stunned face. And that’s how it happened: at the One Hotel, Zach told Chrisy that she was the one. He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. And, well… Here we are!
