When should I book my accommodations?

Answer

September is harvest season for the Sonoma County area, which is one of the busiest tourist seasons. We recommend booking your travel and hotel as early as possible to ensure that there are accommodations available.

By When should I RSVP?

Answer

Formal invitations will be sent in July. Please RSVP as soon as possible, so that we can coordinate our guest list. If you don't RSVP in time, we assume that your unable to attend.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We have attire suggestions listed on the website's schedule and RSVP tabs for more information. Please reach out to Christy and Dave if you have questions.

Is there parking for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Yes. Buena Vista Winery has ample on-site parking if you choose to drive yourself. For guests with accessibility issues, please let us know and we can coordinate transportation from the parking lot to the ceremony location

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Guests can begin to arrive at the venue at 4:30 PM to park. The ceremony location will be open starting at 5:00 PM. Please note that this is a busier time and that the Vintage Festival might have some traffic in downtown Sonoma. Please allow for time to find parking and your seat.

WHAT ABOUT KIDS?

Answer

We love you and your family. Please note that our wedding ceremony and reception is NOT intended for children. Let us know if you would like information about local child care resources or have special concerns. We encourage you to use this as an evening as a "night out" for yourself.

What about pets?

Only service animals are permitted at the venue.

WHAT ABOUT COVID AND OTHER HEALTH CONCERNS?

Answer

We strive to protect and promote the well-being of our friends and family, in partnership with the winery and in alignment with local public health authorities and State recommendations. Buena Vista Winery “asks all guest to refrain from visiting if you have symptoms or have recently been in contact with anyone known to have COVID or COVID symptoms.” We strongly encourage all guests to be fully vaccinated and boosted for Covid prior to the wedding.

WILL THE WEDDING BE INDOOR OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

The welcome party at Wit and Wisdom will be covered. The ceremony and reception are planned for outdoors. However, this be change to indoor if there is any extreme weather events.

Can I Bring A Guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your invitation and your RSVP on the website. Thank you for our understanding to keep this a smaller wedding.
