FAQs

The Wedding Website of Christy Anne Willis and Pierce Gordon
If you have any questions other than what is listed here, please reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible! The last date to RSVP is March 15, 2026. If you try to RSVP "yes" after this date, please bring a chair & a sandwich as we unfortunately may be unable to accommodate you at the reception dinner.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open at 4:30. Please arrive no later than 4:45 to allow time for all guests to be seated for the ceremony to begin.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! Dress code is semi-formal. Short or floor length dresses, tuxes or suits are welcome. Please, no wearing jeans.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking for the reception is free. The parking directly in front of the church is limited - we ask that you save those spots for members of the wedding party and elderly guests. There is a parking garage directly across the street from the church that can be used during the ceremony.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. Due to the car-dependent nature of Dallas, we recommend that you rent a car or use Uber/Lyft to get around the city. The DART has lines that run through Love Field & DFW to the arts district (the location of our ceremony) however lines do not run between the arts district and the design district (location of the reception). If you have transportation concerns, please reach out to the bride or groom to connect you with other guests for carpooling.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we kindly ask that you refer to your invitation for inclusion of a plus-one or guest. Your invitation will be made to “[Your name] & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, your kids are welcome!

Question

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place indoors.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss your presence! If you are unable to make the trip to Texas, we plan to have a second reception in Seattle at a later date for our Washington family & friends.

Question

What time will your reception end? Is there an after party?

Answer

Our reception will end around 10:00 PM, with our sendoff immediately afterwards. There will be no official after-party.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during this special day. Take as many photos as you'd like at the reception! We would love to see your point of view.

Question

Where should I bring/send my wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, please reach out to the bride/groom to confirm their mailing address.

Question

I have an allergy, will I be able to eat?

Answer

Food will be served via buffet. While there will be allergen-free options, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. If you have a serious allergy, please contact the bride so she can reserve a separate plate for you.
