Question

Where should we park?

Answer

We included a parking map on the information sheet included with your invitation. The main driveway to the property is private and guests are not allowed to park there. Instead, you will want to continue down Highland Road for 100 yards or so past the private driveway and turn left on the service road. If approaching the ranch on Carneal Road, turn right at Highland Road and turn left on the service road in about 100 yards. There is a parking lot at the end you can park in.

Question

Can we sleep in a tent at the ranch?

Answer

Yes! You are welcome to bring a tent, just let us know if you plan to do so.

Question

Is there a hot tub at the ranch?

Answer

Yes!

Question

Will there be heat lamps?

Answer

Yes, there will be heat lamps around the dinner tables, but we still recommend bringing a warm layer.

Question

Will there be horses?

Answer

The ranch boards other people's horses on the property and since these horses belong to people, please be respectful of the horses. If you have kids, make sure they are safe if near the horses since they can bite, kick, etc.

Question

I'm bringing children, anything I should know?

Answer

There is lots of machinery on the property that could be potentially sharp or rusty. The upstairs of the barn also has open windows at floor level and uneven floor boards. Please accompany your children at all times to make sure they are safe.

Question

What is the bathroom/shower situation at the ranch?

Answer

For the day of the event, we will have a bathroom trailer for the guests to use to. These are very nice bathrooms with running water and private stalls. There are only two showers on the property, one is attached to the master bedroom in the farm house and there is one shared bathroom/shower in the farm house for guests to use on Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Since the ranch sleeps 28 people, there will likely be lots of people trying to share the common bathroom/shower in the house, so if you have a family member staying in a hotel room, you may want to take advantage of that to get ready more comfortably on the day of the wedding.
