We are so excited to share our special day with all of you at the beautiful Paradise Springs in Oakhurst, CA. Oakhurst is 30 minutes from Yosemite National Park and without traffic is about 3 hours from San Francisco and 5 hours from Orange County. Paradise Springs is our ideal venue for a weekend wedding adventure. We are envisioning a VERY CASUAL weekend full of outdoor activities in the beautiful forest like partying, games, stories, s'mores around the bonfire, and much more. Everyone is invited to stay on site and there is unlimited room for camping and RVs. It'll sort of be like adult summer camp! For those of you who prefer, the town of Oakhurst is 20 minutes from the venue and has several hotels available, so don't fret. The entire property is ours exclusively and because of that, there are none of the classic wedding venue rules like noise curfews. Yep, no curfews and there is no one else for 100 miles. Looking at historic weather data, we hope to have temperatures in the mid 70s during the day with it getting a bit chilly at night, possibly in the 40s. If the weather ends up not cooperating, there are two large indoor areas to hang out in that can easily accommodate all of us. So, if you want to go on a little adventure with us, here's the schedule: Thursday, May 23rd @ 3:00PM - Check-in time for campers + RVs Thursday, May 23rd @ 7:00PM - Welcome Dinner at Paradise Springs (The Villa) Friday, May 24th @ 4:00PM - Wedding Ceremony at Paradise Springs (Hidden Forest) Friday, May 24th @ 5:00PM - Cocktail Hour, followed by Reception (Gazebo) Saturday, May 25th - A full day of hanging out, games, hikes (if we aren't too hungover), fishing whatever we feel like.
