Wedding Party

Samuel Finne

Best Man

Sam, Alex’s brother, was the kind of person who could light up any room with his wit and humor. He had a rare gift for making people laugh and an even rarer one for making them feel truly cared for. Though he’s no longer with us, his warmth, laughter, and love continue to be a guiding presence in our lives. We honor him as our best man in spirit, forever part of this celebration and our hearts.

Olivia Wallen

Maid of Honor

Yes, another Olivia! (She’s the redheaded one—Alex’s family approves.) Olivia W. and I met working as ICU nurses, where I trained her on day one. Since then, we’ve been inseparable—sharing shifts, inside jokes, and countless “family dinners” with Alex. She even helped him pull off the proposal (without spilling the secret!). She’s now off being a rockstar in CRNA school in Kansas City, but she’s always been my steady, hilarious, fiercely loyal friend and I’m so lucky to have her by my side.

Joseph Goettl

Groomsman

Joe and I met a few years ago while working at Olde Brickhouse in Rochester. He was one of the best bartenders we had hired and I quickly learned he was a very hard worker. He and I started to hit it off during the busy nights with little pay. He was fast to becoming more than a coworker as we would hangout outside of work and enjoy drinks and golf on many occasion. We have been known to tear up a course or two. Between the two of us there is not much we can't or haven't talked about. We have been there for each other through many a change in lifestyles and one of the main consistencies has been our friendship and brotherhood through it all. I was honored to be in he and Haley's wedding and couldn't think of a better person to have on my side during my special day. Unfortunately he is a Packer fan, so let that be a lesson that although he is a great guy, he can still make some poor decisions here and there ;)

Megan Hickey

Bridesmaid

Megan and I first met during our very first nursing jobs, and our friendship has only grown from there. Now she’s a wound care nurse, and I love when our paths cross at work. It’s always such a treat that I’ll even pick up extra hours on her floor just to see her. Outside of work, we shared so many fun memories of getting dressed up and going to fancy dinners just because, enjoying great food and even better company. Megan has the kindest heart, the most infectious laugh, and an incredible strength, both in life and in the gym (she’s a dedicated CrossFitter!). We’ve spent countless hours talking about workouts, life, and everything in between. I’m so lucky to have her by my side on this special day.

Mike Zappa

Groomsman

Mike, where do I start? We met during my time in St. Cloud. He was a friend of a friend but quickly became much more. Mike and I worked together in the intramural program at the college and spent many a night hitting the town in Cloud. When we weren't running the show working, we were trying not to embarrass ourselves playing sports together. He opened his apartment to me and spent many a rough morning together recovering from nights filled with Jack and Cokes. He has been one of my firm foundations in life no matter where life has taken us and always been one to count on reaching out when life has gotten a little messy. Mike is well on his way to starting a beautiful family of his own and is a great guidance as a family man I hope to be. Mike and his family have opened there arms to allow me to join as an unnecessary redheaded child in their lives. I get to enjoy a round of golf with Mike every year, with many more needing scheduling. I was also in Mike and Maddie's wedding sometime back and am so excited he is accepting the job of standing by my side for my special day!

Stella Rogers

Bridesmaid

Stella and I first met at work, and we quickly bonded over wedding planning since our big days are just a few months apart. She is so creative and incredibly talented when it comes to planning, and we’ve spent countless hours chatting about every wedding detail together. Beyond that, one of our favorite things to do is go line dancing, which makes sense since we both love all things western. I can’t wait to see her bring those dance moves to the wedding floor and to have her by my side for such a special day.

Abby Claffy

Honor Attendant

Abby is truly like family to us. She has been a long-time friend of Alex’s family, and her connection to Sam, our best man in spirit, makes her role in our wedding even more meaningful. As the daughter of our day-of coordinator, we knew she would be deeply involved from the start, and it only felt right to give her an official title. Abby has been the glue throughout this wedding process—always ready to step in, keep us on track, and bring her kindness and humor to every moment. She is such a bright, caring, and fun young woman, and we’re so grateful to have her be involved on this special day.
