FAQs

The Wedding Website of Olivia Christopherson and Alex Finne
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly request your RSVP by July 31, 2026

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Guests may begin arriving at 2:30 PM, and we kindly ask that you do not arrive earlier than that time. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM, so please plan to be seated before then. Out of respect for the ceremony, late arrivals may be asked to wait to enter until an appropriate pause.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors and on grass — so please dress for the weather! While we’d love to see your take on our theme of "cowboy cocktail" (think western flair meets cocktail chic), it’s totally optional. We just want you to feel great and have a good time! Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re keeping things intimate and are only able to accommodate the guests named on the invitation. We hope you understand — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we kindly ask that this celebration be adults-only. We hope you enjoy a well-deserved night off — and can’t wait to raise a glass with you!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking is available onsite at the venue. Since the venue is a farm, most parking will be in a grassy area, and there is a short walk through the grass to the ceremony space. Golf carts will be available for anyone who may need assistance getting to the ceremony area. If you think you may need a ride, please contact the bride or groom ahead of time so we can make sure someone is available to help.

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We’re hoping for beautiful weather, but we have a backup plan just in case! Our ceremony is planned for outdoors, and if it’s only a light drizzle we’ll likely carry on as planned. If there is heavy rain or lightning, the ceremony will move to the covered reception area. The venue staff will then flip the space during cocktail hour so everything is ready for the reception.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We will be serving a buffet-style dinner during the reception along with late-night bites later in the evening. The bar will be open during cocktail hour and the reception and will offer a selection of cocktails, beer, and wine.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the AmericInn in Wabasha, MN. Check out the travel tab for more information.
