Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our wedding will be a black-tie event. Gentlemen are requested to wear a tuxedo, and ladies a floor-length evening gown. We kindly ask female guests to avoid wearing white. For our Friday welcome event, the dress code is cocktail attire. Think a suit or sport coat for men, and a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates for women.

As much as we love your children, this will be an adults-only weekend of events.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
We strongly encourage you to stay onsite at The K Club, as this will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the wedding celebrations and easily access all events without needing transportation. However, for those who choose to stay at The Glenroyal Hotel or The Westgrove Hotel, we will be providing transportation to and from our wedding festivities on both Friday and Saturday. Please note, if you choose to stay at any other hotel or an Airbnb, we unfortunately won't be able to provide transportation. It's important to be aware that public transportation and ride-sharing options are limited in the area. Staying at The K Club or our other designated hotels will ensure you have effortless access to all wedding events and can relax and enjoy every moment of our special weekend!

Please RSVP by December 1, 2025 to ensure we provide an accurate headcount to the K Club for seating, food, and drinks.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes! We absolutely have recommendations to ensure your stay is as convenient and enjoyable as possible. We strongly encourage you to stay onsite at The K Club to fully immerse yourself in the wedding celebrations and easily access all events without needing transportation. We have secured 50 rooms at The K Club at a special wedding rate. Please note that any rooms booked beyond this initial block will be subject to availability and the best available rate at the time of booking. To be eligible for our special wedding rate, please ensure you book your room at least 14 weeks prior to the event. For your convenience, we also recommend: The Glenroyal Hotel The Westgrove Hotel Please note: If you choose to stay at any other hotel or an Airbnb, we unfortunately cannot provide transportation. Absolutely! After you RSVP, reach out to either of us immediately with your allergy and we will ensure this request is communicated to the K Club.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both! Please refer to the below so you can plan your attire accordingly. Friday Night Welcome Party - The Palmer Room - the main area is indoors, however there is a terrace so we encourage you to bring a coat just in case! Saturday Wedding Day - Ceremony - The K Club Front Lawns (Outdoors) Cocktail Hour - Main Hotel (Rococo Hall, Garden Room, Tara Suite, and Outdoor Terrace) - (Indoors with the option to go out on the terrace) Reception - The Legacy Suite (Indoors with the option to go out on the terrace)

We plan to make this Into an extended trip. What do you recommend we do to make the most of our time?
Answer
Dublin is a short 40 minute drive from Kildare. We recommend you spend a few days pre/post June 5-6 and stay in the heart of Dublin! It is an incredible city with countless sightseeing, fantastic pubs, restaurants to dine at, and more!

Is the wedding a phone/camera free event?
Answer
While we are excited for you to record memories throughout the weekend, we kindly request that you refrain from taking your phones or cameras out during our ceremony. We have hired talented photographers and videographers who will do this for you and we will share them as soon as they are made available.

What will the weather be like there in the month of June?
Answer
While Ireland is known for its changeable weather and intermittent rainfall, June is generally one of the drier and sunnier months. Anticipate mild, changeable weather and average temperatures falling into the 50s and 60s Fahrenheit with a chance of both sunshine and rain.
