Is church service optional?
Answer
Yes, of course. If you do plan to attend, dress code for Greek Church is modest dress, avoid casual wear, no jeans. Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church: Location 2747 Riva RD. Annapolis. MD. 21401 You can bring a plus one to church.

What time should I arrive to Greek Orthodox Church?
Answer
Ceremony currently scheduled for 2 pm on 10/18/25. However, we are meeting Father Kosmas to move start time to 3 pm, TBD.

Can I bring a plus-one?
Answer
On the formal wedding invitation to come, it will be addressed to the individuals who are invited to the wedding. Due to size and capacity, please do not bring a plus one or additional guest if they are not included on the formal invitation.

What cuisine will be served at the reception?
Answer
Ken’s Creative Kitchen is the caterer. A fish and beef option, dual entrée will be served in addition to cocktail hour appetizers, oyster bar and Mediterranean dishes. The Maryland crab cake will also be part of menu. If you have dietary restrictions, vegan or vegetarian, or food allergies, please let Robin know at robinfunk3@gmail.com. Please email by 7/1/25.

Is there a hospitality bar, and what is being served?
Answer
There will be non-alcohol and alcohol served. The bartenders will gladly accept gratuity.

What is the best way to share photos from the wedding?

We will have a QR code day of wedding on how to share.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Wedding inside Greek Church. Reception inside Fluegel Alumni Center. Building is located on the water with outdoor seating.

Are there any transportation options for guests arriving by air or while in town?
Answer
This is your responsibility. Uber and Lyft readily available. Download apps to your phone.

How far are Washington DC and Baltimore to Annapolis?
Answer
DC 30 miles. Baltimore 31 miles. Hotels- See links under travel for room blocks. Airbnb, Vrbo is readily available, but book in advance, Annapolis is the capital and tourist destination for sailing. Suggestions: Historical District, downtown Annapolis, West Annapolis, Eastport. Weather October- Mid to high 60’s by day. 40’s/50s evenings.

What is dress attire for reception?

Black tie optional, cocktail attire.

We kindly request no infants or young children at reception. Church ceremony is open to all.

Is there a wedding planner?
Answer
The day of wedding and week prior, a wadding planner contact name/ number will be provided to field questions. Until then, contact Robin or Chris.

Church and reception both accessible.

Music for reception?
Answer
We hired a violinist (Stephanie Strings, Instagram) and we have DJ NILLA. Some Greek dance music will be played in addition to our favorite dance tunes. The Photiou side please get the party started with some Greek dancing!

No, but there are many great dining options around town.
