We realize this is a bit of a hike into a new area for many of you, so we want to help make it easy in every way we can.

So...where is this place?
Answer
Rondele Ranch is located in the town of Harshaw, just outside of Minocqua, Rhinelander, and Tomahawk (the more well-known towns). The reason we chose Rondele Ranch for our wedding is that Harshaw has been a second home to the Chris' family for decades and it's our absolute favorite place to be. Many of you may be familiar with Camp LoPinto from past visits. We were lucky to stumble upon this wedding venue in Harshaw and knew it was the place.

Is the wedding kid-friendly?
Answer
Absolutely! There is so much for kids to see and do in the Northwoods and the wedding venue encourages families. If you have any questions about it, please email us! We will have our two year old daughter Cecelia with us, and we anticipate several guests bringing their little ones as well. It will be a great time for them, too!

What's up with the Welcome dinner?
Answer
We will be hosting a welcome gathering at the main estate house of Rondele Ranch from 6:30pm until 8:30pm. Steaks and brats on the grill, coolers full – but feel free to BYOB if that suits you. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with other friends and family in town before the coming ceremony and reception. What you do after 8:30pm is completely your call. Birch Lake Bar is open until 10:00PM and Ten Point is open until 2:00AM. Just sayin'.

I'm staying outside of Minocqua. What do I need to know?
Answer
If you are renting a property, we recommend visiting either of the local supermarkets in Minocqua (Trig's or Save More) to grab some snacks, drinks, and miscellaneous essentials for your rental. Remember – there are no Uber Eats, DoorDash, rideshare apps, and mostly no general stores immediately nearby, so we encourage planning ahead for a worry free weekend. Maybe grab a case before you arrive wherever you plan on staying.

What is the best airport to fly into?
Answer
The closest commercial airports to Harshaw are O'Hare (ORD) which is about a 5.5 hour drive, and Milwaukee Mitchell (MKE) which is about a 4 hour drive. We suggest carpooling with friends/family or renting a car for the weekend. The exact address of Rondele Ranch is 8959 Co Hwy K, Harshaw, WI 54529 if you'd like to map it.

What is the bar situation for the wedding?
Answer
Beer and wine will be available all night along, along with two uniquely special batch cocktails inspired by the Bride and Groom. A top-shelf cash bar will also be available for all of your imbibing pleasure.

If you feel you'd like to graciously contribute to our future as a married couple, there will be a card drop and gift table at the wedding – but please don't feel obligated!
