Flight
If flying in, Portland is the best option. Vehicle rentals are available at the airport. The airport is approximately 1.5 hrs from the venue. There are two routes you can take from PDX to the lodging/venue. The highway 26 (more southern) route will take you through a handful of quaint mountain towns and is the more forested terrain. It offers view of Mount Hood along the way. And we suggest stopping at Wildwood Recreation Site along the way to walk around a lush PNW forest, complete with a trail along the Salmon River. Another option is driving the Columbia River Gorge on the I-84 to Hood River and then south to Cooper Spur. This is a very scenic route and you can stop at Multnomah Falls along the way. Both routes are roughly 1.5 hours drive time.
Hotel
This is where we have rooms available for lodging. We have a “room block” specifically for our wedding guests for the 15th-16th of May. Check out the morning of the 17th. This lodging option is a 20 minute shuttle to the ceremony/reception. We will have a shuttle bus (free) for guests. We will be working to assign lodging to guests as we receive RSVP's. Once we assign the lodging, you will be able to call Cooper Spur directly and pay. A 10% discount will be offered to guests staying that weekend. This lodging consists cabins, condos and limited hotel rooms. There is a full service restaurant and tavern on site. As well as recreation options and trails from the property. We will be staying here and would love for you to join us! Other lodging options include hotels in Government Camp and more hotel options in Hood River. Ranging from 20-40 mins from the venue. Hood River has lots of AirBnB and VRBO options. There are also a handful of campsites in the area if that's more your jam. Sherwood Campground is the closest option- a 15 minute drive.
