Travel Note
Springfield is easy to navigate by car, Uber, or taxi - however Ubers are limited. We encourage booking early to ensure you have transportation arrangements made. Additionally, all wedding event locations are located in downtown Springfield and within walking distance from each other (weather permitting). Walks between all locations are ~5-8 minutes.
Travel Note
Parking will be available at the Cathedral for the ceremony. Parking will also be available around the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum for cocktail hour and the wedding reception. Street meters are often available (free on weekends) and a dedicated underground museum parking garage is located at 6th St. and Madison St. Cars parked in the garage during the reception will need to be retrieved by 10:30pm. Overnight parking is not available.
Travel Note
Shuttle transportation will be available from the President Lincoln DoubleTree hotel to cocktail hour on Saturday 5/23 beginning at 4:50pm until 6:00pm every 10 minutes. Cocktail hour and the reception are both being held at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Museum. Cocktail hour begins at 5:00pm. The wedding reception begins at 6:30pm.
Travel Note
Shuttles will be available to take guests from the reception back to the Lincoln DoubleTree hotel beginning at 9:00pm. The last shuttle will be at 10:00pm. Shuttles will run every 10 minutes. Additional details will be available about shuttle service to DH Brown's bar following the reception closer to the wedding date. Shuttles will not be available to take guests to any other locations following the reception aside from those above.
Travel Note
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen will use shuttle services to ride to the ceremony, all photo locations, and the cocktail hour and reception together with the bride and groom. The shuttle between the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour is reserved for the bridal party only due to limited space. Partners of the bridal party will travel separately and rejoin everyone at the cocktail hour. End of night shuttle service will be available to deliver the bridal party and their guests back to their hotel or the bar.

The closest airport is Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport (SPI), just minutes from downtown Springfield. For more flight options, you may also consider flying into St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL), which is approximately 90 minutes away by car.
