We hope these quick answers help!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Monday, June 20th, 2022

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception be held indoors at the Mountain View Ballroom.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Black-Tie wedding attire is recommended, but not required. Ladies, please remember that wearing black or pearls to a wedding is BAD LUCK in the Slovak culture. Since there will be an outside ceremony, we advise comfortable shoes that will allow walking across grass.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are most definitely welcome!

Question

Is it okay to take pictures on our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

You are more than welcome to use your devices on our special day, however, we would appreciate no cellphone and camera use for the entirety of the wedding ceremony and first dance.

Question

We are coming from out of town, where should we stay?

Answer

Mountain View Manor has several private suites available for guests at a rate of $200/room from Saturday (12pm check in) to Sunday (10am check out). To book a room, please contact Klara Rusinko at (917) 697-4751 to place a reservation and mail check to: Klara Rusinko 100 Dehaven Drive, Apt 209 Yonkers, NY 10703. Keep in mind that these rooms are first come first serve! For more options, feel free to check out nearby Airbnb and hotel stays as well.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Mountain View Manor has a designated parking lot available to all wedding guests.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 3pm.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered at Zola. Please visit the Registry Tab for more details!

Question

What should you expect in regards to the Covid-19 pandemic?

Answer

Due to the uncertainty with the Covid-19 pandemic, we understand that it is difficult to plan far in advance. We are closely monitoring the situation, however, we recommend that you take all necessary precautions in planning your trip to New York, if you're coming from abroad or out of town. You should consider getting flight ticket insurance, or wait closer to the date to purchase your ticket.
