How We Met

Ballroom

Sometimes the stars align and you just so happen to meet your future spouse on a collegiate ballroom team. After a year of competing against each other for who could play it the coolest, they bonded over rock climbing, photography, and outdoor adventures. From rustic road trips and outdoor activities to elegant ballroom competitions, Chris and Klara’s relationship took off and they haven’t looked back since. They fit perfectly into each others’ unique way of viewing the world, and their proposal was no different. Chris designed and cast Klara’s ring by hand, and proposed on an off path site at the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. For six years, they’ve pushed each other to climb to new heights, and have built a home together wherever they’ve gone. They started out looking for a partner on the dance floor, but they ended up finding their partners for life.
