Wedding Party

Groomsmen bios narrated by Chris. Bridesmaid bios narrated by Katelyn.

Kent Evans

Best Man

I met Kent after I took a job as a barista in the coffee shop in Pullman adjacent to where Katelyn and I met. After a few shifts and getting to know each other, the subject of music and movies came up and a shared passion became a continual talking point. Closing out the store listening to not work appropriate tunes, then spending our tip money at an excellent restaurant down the street. Once Kent moved on to his Master’s program and I went back to school, we spent more time discussing what we were learning, and watching an outrageous selection of movies. Expect Kent to know where all the bodies are, and be a consummate professional.

Megan Ward

Maid of Honor

Megan and I are sisters but more notably, best friends. In typical sibling fashion, we have gone through phases of stealing each other's clothes. However, our relationship has grown past these superficial things into supporting each other through school and being each other's secret holders. We think and feel similarly about a lot of things in life and share a love for plants and animals. I enjoy her companionship on hiking and camping trips and we enjoy doing anything together as long as our dogs can come along too. Expect Megan to be chill, someone who has no problem poking fun and has a certain lighthearted way of getting people to laugh and joke around.

Dan Longager

Groomsman

Daniel and I met in elementary school after Dan’s move to Wenatchee from Minot, North Dakota. Fast becoming friends, we performed in plays together, Jazz band in middle school, making prank calls from the back of the bus on school trips, and have been hanging out with each other despite moves all over the state. Our history, along with impeccable orating skills and proud Midwest charm meant Daniel was the only choice to officiate Katelyn and I’s wedding.

Kadrie Carpenter

Bridesmaid

Kadrie and I met during our early days in college. We decided to become roomies one year and shared the huge master bedroom at the Pullman "green house". There were many memories to be had, and I can't believe we attempted so many all-nighters. Kadrie and I have stood by each other through some not so glamorous times - most notably her finding me food during one of many hangry episodes. Kadrie is someone I can always rely on for long chats about any topic. She is honest, loyal and always down for an adventure.

James Gallaher

Groomsman

James and I spent lots of time together in high school listening to metal and hip-hop, playing Call of Duty and talking about cars. In between these highly productive activities, we shared an incredible student exchange trip to Germany together, where we ogled over the German automobiles, enjoyed the local beverages, ate too many doner kebabs. Expect James to be very friendly, talkative, and hear his infectious laugh from across the room.

Ashley Powell

Bridesmaid

Ashley and I worked together at Cafe Moro in Pullman. We share many experiences of dealing with difficult customers but we always made sure to have fun. I think it's safe to say we both miss working as baristas. We have bonded over the years over our mutual love for good pizza and trail running. We made many day trips to Coeur d'Alene in search of new trails and of course, macarons. Expect Ashley to be outgoing, talkative and charming.

Jarred Zacher

Groomsman

Jarred and I spent a good portion of high school together driving around in Jarred's Jeep listening to Coast to Coast AM, staying up late playing Gears of War and drinking much too much soda. Jarred is a spontaneous and joyful person. Those traits led to some great experiences and some of the hardest laughs I have ever had. Jarred is a big personality and will not hold back sharing embarrassing stories from our youth.

Erin Spencer

Bridesmaid

Erin is Chris's sister but from the moment we met, she felt like family and we quickly became good friends. Erin has put up with Chris's shenanigans for so much longer than I have, which is something we definitely can relate on and laugh over. Erin is the kindest person I know. I enjoy our chats during family get togethers and camping trips. I am honored to call her my sister soon.
