What documents do I need to enter the Dominican Republic?

● U.S. Passport - Check to see if your passport is expired. If it is, you should renew it as soon as possible because the U.S. Department of State is currently overwhelmed by demand. Please visit this site for passport renewal info: https://www.usa.gov/passport ● eTicket - For entry into the Dominican Republic you will need to present your eTicket QR code. Please visit this site before your flight to complete the process: https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/Auth/TravelRegister/ (You can change the language to English at the top right corner of the webpage) On the General Information page, be sure to select the '"Are you going to stay in a hotel?" button and enter "Hotel Casa Hemingway" into the box.

How to I travel from the airport to Club Hemingway?

Answer

Club Hemingway provides pick-up and drop-off service to and from Santo Domingo (SDQ) airport. Pick-up from SDQ airport is $70 + 28% tax while drop-off to SDQ airport is $60 + 28% tax per ride. Vehicle capacity is for up to 5 people plus baggage. We suggest that you communicate with other guests who have a similar arrival time to share the cost of the ride. Once exiting customs and immigration, a hotel member will be waiting inside the airport greeting area with a sign with your name on it. Other airports or routes can be confirmed upon request. A U.S. Visa or Mastercard is accepted for nearly anything in the Dominican Republic; including at the hotel. Please check with your U.S. bank to see if they charge international use fees. If the fees are high or you plan to buy from a local street vendor, you will need Dominican pesos. You can exchange dollars for pesos at the airport when you arrive.
