On February 1st, 2020, Christopher and Kaitlin went to a party without knowing what fate had in store for them. After a night of Christopher and Kaitlin’s friends talking all night, Christopher was a gentleman and drove one of Kaitlin's friends home. Kaitlin threatened Christopher by giving him her Snapchat so he could text her when her friend made it home safe (Christopher made sure she was safe). This was the end of Christopher and Kaitlin, so we thought. About a year and a half later, Kaitlin was hanging out with that same friend, about to leave to go out, when she realized Christopher Snapchatted her. Christopher sent a picture asking Kaitlin "What her COVID symptoms were?", as Kaitlin had just gotten over COVID. Kaitlin responded with her symptoms and thought that was it. Christopher then sent another Snapchat to Kaitlin, which was clearly not meant for Kaitlin. Christopher apologized and continued the conversation as if it hadn't happened. After 3 days of constantly talking, Christopher manned up and finally asked Kaitlin to go on a study date, Kaitlin agreed. Christopher talked and Kaitlin studied for hours, but at the end of the night, Christopher asked Kaitlin to go on what they consider their first date. Christopher and Kaitlin went to Teddy Jack's in Lubbock, then went to Kaitlin's house to meet her friends. Kaitlin and her friends had a Fantasy Football draft that same night, but only had 9 memebers. One of Kaitlin's friends then invited Christopher to her friend group's fantasy football league. He was stuck. He knew he could not leave now, at least not until the end of football season. On September 24th, 2021, Christopher asked Kaitlin to be his girlfriend. Since then, Christopher and Kaitlin have been inseparable, making wonderful memories like graduating from Texas Tech, adopting Haven and Willow, and falling in love.
