Deemed 'Old Southport', Pequot ave is best for walking around and taking in the sights where you'll feel transported back to simpler times. Grab a sandwich at Spic 'n Span market and take a walk down to Southport (Perry) Green to eat on the lawn of the harbor. Sit down for a meal at the Driftwood Diner and order one of the best milkshakes you've ever had. Shop at the Women's Exchange where you'll find an array of gifts and handcrafted pieces. Pop into Switzer's pharmacy for quaint candies and old postcards, or grab a drink at The Horseshoe Tavern across the street. All of these great places are walking distance from the Delamar Hotel and from where both the ceremony & reception will be held.
This is our go to breakfast place when we're in Fairfield. Simple and straightforward, but for us nothing beats a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll done right
Post Road runs through the heart of Fairfield and offers shops, restaurants and bars for all ages. We will be having our welcome party just off of Post Road.
Bring a beach chair and a good book and settle on the shores of Southport public beach. Look out and you'll often see sailboats on the horizon.
