Can I bring a plus-one?

We love a good party, but due to space, we’re only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

While we love your little ones, we’re keeping this an adults-only celebration so everyone can let loose and enjoy the night!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve reserved a hotel block at Marriott Dallas Uptown with a special rate of $199 per night. This is also where the shuttle will pick up and drop off, so staying here makes getting to and from the celebration easy! You can find the booking link on the Travel page of our website.

What should I wear?

Answer

Our dress code is Garden Formal—think sundresses, light suits, and anything that feels polished yet breathable. Since it’s Texas in late August, expect some heat, so lightweight fabrics like linen or cotton are a great choice. And since we’re celebrating at a butterfly garden, we’d love to see some florals, soft patterns, or nature-inspired colors in the mix!

Will transportation be provided?

Yes! A shuttle will run between the Marriott Dallas Uptown and the ceremony, then to the reception, and back at the end of the night—so you can relax and enjoy the party without worrying about the ride.

What time should I arrive?

If you're staying at Marriott Dallas Uptown, we’ll provide a shuttle schedule as we get closer to the date, so stay tuned for details! If you're driving yourself, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking, finding a seat, and settling in before we say “I do!”

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you’re driving, there is on-site parking available at Texas Discovery Gardens. However, we recommend using the shuttle from Marriott Dallas Uptown so you can fully enjoy the night without worrying about the drive.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for you to be fully present during our ceremony, so we’re kindly asking for an unplugged ceremony—which means no phones or cameras. Don’t worry, we’ll have a photographer capturing everything! Once the ceremony wraps up, feel free to take all the photos and videos you’d like.

What’s on the menu?

We’re kicking things off with a cocktail hour after the ceremony, where you can enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres and drinks before heading into a seated dinner. Expect great food, plenty of drinks, and a mix of options to keep everyone happy! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate.

What will the weather be like?

It’ll be late August in Texas, so expect warm weather, especially in the afternoon. Most of the celebration will take place indoors, but there will be outdoor spaces to enjoy.
