Question

Will there be any special travel arrangements necessary on the night of the wedding?

Answer

Yes. As we are having our event inside a closed Disney Park, there will be a couple special requests made of our guests to comply with Disney rules. Guests will need to park at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa no later than 9:00pm. Everyone will then board buses at the Grand Floridian Convention Center entrance and be transported over to the entrance gate of Hollywood Studios. NO ONE will be permitted to drive & park directly at the park. After the event (approximately 3:30-4:00am), everyone will be taken back to the Grand Floridian via the same buses to return to their personal vehicles. While in the park, guests will be ushered from the entrance, to the ceremony, to the reception, and back to the entrance by Disney Cast Members and will not permitted to wander unaccompanied. Guests will also not be allowed to leave the venues during the event, unless there is an emergency. We hope you understand & will enjoy being a part of this once-in-a-lifetime, private in-park experience!

Question

What are your ceremony and reception details?

Answer

The wedding will be taking place after park hours on Disney property. As we continue to iron out details with our Fairytale Weddings planner, we will be able to share more concrete information. For now we can note that there will be a central meeting place (to be determined) where all guests will need to meet before the wedding as everyone will be bussed to the location together. If you miss this bus departure, you will be unable to attend the wedding.

Question

What will COVID-19 restrictions and precautions be for the event?

Answer

To receive updated COVID-19 information, we are requesting each party send one email address on their RSVP reply. As we are planning our wedding on Disney property, we will be following whatever requirements they set in place. We will not be sure what the final restrictions and precautions will be until we get closer. Christopher and I are both vaccinated and look forward to celebrating with everyone we love!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, however, we encourage guests to post reception pictures on to their social media channels. We kindly request that you are conscious of our professional photographers during our events and be mindful of the photos being taken. Also, please tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #WhoYaGonnaMarry so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Orlando sees highs that average around 75 degrees Fahrenheit and lows of about 51 through February. The sun will shine on average for eight hours a day, and the sea temperature will be a refreshing 75 degrees. Rain only falls about six days of the month, so it's pretty dry and mild. The wedding ceremony will be overnight and it will be outdoors while the reception will be indoors. Layering or a lighter jacket is recommended.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. Walt Disney World guests do have the ability to utilize 'In Room Service: Kids Nite Out' service if childcare services are required during the event. Children of all ages are welcome. Reservations are required and can be made 90 days in advance. To schedule please call (407) 828-0920 or visit www.kidsniteout.com .

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We do not have a hotel block at any resort but, we have provided some recommendations (see 'TRAVEL' page). If you have any questions about certain local spots while you are making your travel plans, feel free to reach out.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes, but guests will be transported via bus to and from the nights events. If you believe you will have issue getting on and off the bus, please inform us as soon as possible.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception?

Answer

Cocktails and dinner will be served at the reception.

Question

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

Yes, please let us know as soon as possible if this is the case.
