The Wedding Website of Carolina Rocha and Christopher Von Wittke
Chris and I are so grateful and excited to have each and everyone celebrate with us! Under the travel note section- you can find all the information on how to get there! Now, where to stay? We want your trip to the Dominican Republic to be as relaxing and easy as possible, so we’ve arranged a few great options for lodging: Hotel Casa Coson and Kaia Lodge are both within walking distance to the villa, the others are in very close proximity. Things are more spread out in Las Terrenas, so we recommend staying near "Playa Coson", there are plenty of other hotels in Las Terrenas, including a brand new Marriot which is about a 25 minute drive, totally up to you! I will attach the local hotels my wedding planners have recommended , and of course feel free to use Airb&b for booking a stay there are plenty of options in Playa Coson area- just ask the host to ensure it is close enough to "Villa Cassona" :)

Getting to Las Terrenas!

How to Get to Las Terrenas for the Wedding: We are so excited to celebrate with you in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic! Below is the easiest and most recommended way to get there. ✈️ Step 1: Fly to Santo Domingo (SDQ) • Book a flight to Santo Domingo. • There are nonstop flights daily from Miami and other major U.S. cities. 🚘 Step 2: Travel from Santo Domingo to Las Terrenas Once you land, you’ll head to Las Terrenas — a beautiful beach town about 2.5 hours away. You have a few options: 1. Private Shuttle or Taxi (Recommended) • We suggest booking a private transfer for the smoothest ride. A reliable contact is Vladimir. You can message him on WhatsApp +1 (809) 232-3249 • The cost is around $130–$160 per car (split if you’re traveling in a group. 2. Rental Car • If you’d like to explore on your own, you can rent a car at the airport. • The drive is scenic and safe, with a few tolls along the way (around $15 total). • Driving time: 2–2.5 hours. 3. Bus • For a more budget-friendly option, you can take a taxi from the airport to the bus station in Santo Domingo (about 30 minutes), and then hop on a Caribe Tours or Expreso Las Terrenas bus to town. I did this last time I was here and it was very very smooth • Total time: ~3.5 hours • Fare: Around $10 USD
