FAQs

The Wedding Website of Arianna Gibbs and Christopher Ortiz
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are setting the official RSVP deadline for August 1, 2026. If there’s a reason you need additional time to decide whether you can make it, just let us know — and we’ll confirm the latest date the hotel needs a final answer by.

Question

Hotel app for more information about the resort

Answer

Please consider downloading the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app from the Apple App Store or Google Play to learn more about the resort. The app includes helpful details such as restaurant options, food allergy information, and hours of operation for childcare, restaurants, pools, and other amenities. The resort is also excellent about accommodating food allergies, including providing gluten-free options, so guests with dietary needs should feel well taken care of.

Question

Is all food and drink included at the hotel?

Answer

Yes—the resort is all-inclusive, meaning all food and drinks are included with your stay. Please note that tipping is expected for most services. We recommend bringing plenty of $1 bills for tipping at restaurants and bars, as well as for bell staff, room service delivery, and anyone assisting with your luggage or other services.

Question

Am I required to book directly through the hotel?

Answer

No—you are welcome to book through any reputable website if you happen to find a better rate elsewhere. If you do book independently, please let me know the name the reservation is under and how many rooms you have reserved so I can share the details with the wedding coordinator.

Question

How do I get to the hotel from the aiport?

Answer

I recommend booking a round-trip transportation service in advance to pick you up from the airport and take you to the hotel. Amstar is quick and efficient and works directly with the hotel. Chris and I typically use USA Transfers, which is more affordable; however, they may involve a slightly longer wait time when traveling from the airport to the hotel. That said, they are very reliable and efficient when it comes to getting you back to the airport on time.

Question

Do I have to stay at the hotel on the invitation?

Answer

80% of our guests are required to stay at the resort for a minimum of three nights. If staying at the resort isn’t your thing (it is a kid-friendly environment), just reach out to one of us and we’ll see what we can do. For guests not staying at the resort, there will be a day-of access fee charged by the resort, which we believe is around $100. We can always ask more questions and confirm details if you’re interested. (Family — this does not apply to you. You’re staying at the resort 😄)

Question

What is there for kids to do at the resort?

Answer

The resort has a splash pad and kid pool for toddlers, a child watch center for kids ages 3+, and an arcade for kids 10 and up. Babysitting services are available for an additional cost, and we recommend booking ahead since they fill up quickly.

Question

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The venue does have a slight dress code: No sleeveless shirts or flip-flops, and men are asked to wear long pants. This applies to kids too. Other than that, we just want you to feel good and be yourself! Avoid wearing white (duh), and choose something you’re comfortable celebrating in.

Question

Cabanas & Poolside loungers

Answer

You can rent poolside loungers for $80 per day or a cabana for $100 per day. There is also a large cabana available for full-day rental for $1,300. All rentals include drink service.

Question

What restraunts does the resort have?

Answer

The resort has several dining options: Italian: Portofino French (adults-only): Bordeaux (men must wear long pants and closed-toe shoes) Pan-Asian: Himitsu (hibachi requires a reservation) Mexican: El Patio Seafood: Oceana Seaside Grill There are also casual spots like Barefoot Grill and Coco Café. No reservations are needed for any restaurants except the hibachi grill.

Question

What dates should I book my trip for?

Answer

Please plan whatever works best for you and your family. The wedding will be on December 19th, and the resort requires a minimum three-night stay due to hotel policy. Chris, the girls, and I are booked from December 17th through December 21st. We need to arrive a bit early to go over final details, and if we stay any longer than that, the girls will absolutely lose it.

Question

Where is the wedding registry?

Answer

We don’t have a wedding registry — truly, the best gift you could give us is showing up for our big day! We know traveling isn’t cheap or easy, and the fact that you’re willing to make the trip means the world to us. We are beyond grateful and feel so loved already. That said… if you absolutely insist on bringing a gift, cash would be appreciated so Chris can eventually financially recover from this whole thing 😂. Seriously though, your presence is more than enough, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you all.

Question

What do I do if I have a question that isn't listed here?

Answer

Text me at 409-617-8988. You could text Chris… but let’s be real, he doesn’t know what’s going on 😅 I’ll try to help the best I can!
