Maid of Honor
From diapers to engagement rings, she has seen me in my best and my worst. Emily is the Senior Maid of Honor and I cannot have imagined anyone more suited to stand by my side when I say I do. Emily is my sister and my best friend, and will be the one to fix my makeup after I ugly cry during my vows.
Maid of Honor
Sarah has been our "chaperone" since day one of Christopher and I's interaction! She has always been an encouragement and cheerleader throughout our relationship. She is a sister-best friend and has been my spunky accomplice throughout my whole life. As Junior Maid of Honor, she will be keeping me focused and on task throughout the day! She is one of the important people I wanted next to me when I say I do.
Bridesmaid
Hannah will be one of my NEW sisters! Since she has been living in LA pursuing her acting career, she and I have been able to search out fun things to do and places to go when I was in school down in California. I love hearing her stories about 8 yr old Christopher too - she gives me all the blackmail!
Bridesmaid
Abigail has such a special place in my heart. I have loved this last season of our lives where we have been able to get to know each other more and more throughout Christopher and I's relationship. I cannot wait for all of our crazy adventures to come and am honored to soon be able to call her my sister!
Bridesmaid
From freshman year of High School to now graduating college and both of us getting married, Alyssa has been there with me through it all. Awkward hair styles, weird boyfriends, big life decisions - she has been there. I can't imagine making this commitment without her by my side!
Bridesmaid
Frankie Beattie - my middle school ride or die. Frankie and I spent two years together in middle school and ever since have remained best friends. She is the one I go to when I need to laugh my heart out or have crazy middle of the night adventures. She is coming all the way from Lockport, IL to be in my wedding and I am so thankful she will be there with me to make a move on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
Daniela and I met our Freshman year of college and ever since have been attached at the hip. She is my adventure buddy and my confidante. I am so excited that she agreed to stand up there with me (and also make me look pretty cause she rocks at makeup!)
Best Man
Christian and I started hanging out as freshman in college and have been great friends ever since. We met in the gym during the first few weeks of school and like you know, a friendship made in the gym is stronger that iron. We’ve been through it all together, whether that’s midnight lifting sessions or 3 a.m. studying with a 7:40 a.m. class the next day. I’m grateful to have him by my side as I pass into the covenant of marriage.
Groomsman
I’ve known Ben since the diaper stage. Ben is always up for a good joke and loves to laugh. However, if you want to go the intellectual route and talk on things such as philosophy & theology he is just as happy there too. We’ve spent plenty a weekend playing way too many video games and pulling all-nighters with Little Caesars pizza and soda. Ben is always down for a good time and is a truly selfless individual.
Groomsman
Nathan is the crazy one of the group. I’ve known him for 22+ years and whether it was making impossible ramps as a kid, held up by a single 2x4 and then going head over heels off the bike, or going rabbit hunting and unloading a whole clip at one rabbit (which was sitting perfectly still) and missing every bullet, Nathan is always down for a good time. He is quite musically talented and an exceptional athlete. We played 5 years of basketball together in Junior High and High School and he is always up for a game of hoops to keep his competitive juices alive.
Groomsman
Daniel is usually the voice of reason. He likes to have fun but in a calculated way. He has a mind for business and enjoys talking about intentional and complex things. He is an exceptional athlete and we played 4 years of basketball together in Junior High and High School. I’ve known him for 21+ years and we’ve always been able to challenge one another both athletically and intellectually, often times joining forces in debates with Ben regarding whatever topic is hot at that time.
Groomsman
Ryan is a goofball. Lol, alright he’s not that bad, but as his big brother I’ve got to give him a hard time. Getting to see him grow up and live life with him for the first part of my life is truly something I am grateful to the Lord for. When he puts his mind to it, he is one of the hardest workers you will ever meet. He is compassionate, caring, kind hearted, and one heck of a football player. He loves to laugh, tease his friends/family, and make jokes. However, if you are having a rough day or just need someone to talk to, Ryan will give you both the shirt off his back and his time to make sure you are well taken care of.
Groomsman
David is a “sender”. He likes the extremes in life and is a professional thrill seeker. If you have a crazy idea and are too scared to try it, just ask David and he will boldly attempt whatever it is your imagination was crazy enough to muster up. Rooming with Him this last year at College was definitely one of the highlights of my year. I’ve grown to respect him as a man, and love him as a brother in Christ. He truly lives out the work hard play hard mentality.
Groomsman
Caleb and I have always been close. As kids growing up we used to play fantasy games and imagine we were on some far-off adventure, stretching our imagination to the limits. We also liked to stay up late discussing the intricacies of theology and the complexities of our current reality. Caleb likes having a good time and is willing to go to the extreme to have fun and make others laugh. He currently lives in Miami and is a great husband to his beautiful wife, and father to his precious new baby girl.
Flower Girl
I remember being around 7 years old when Emma was born. Her mom brought her t into the church nursery and I absolutely fell in love. She let me hold her, and for the first time, serving int he nursery with my mom didn't seem so bad after all. Ever since, Emma has been my little best friend. Although at 13 years old, she is not so little anymore, we have remained close her entire life. I love my Emma girl like crazy and am so happy she agreed to be in my wedding as a (senior) flower girl.
Flower Girl
Precious Charlotte is the youngest girl of of the Gentrys, a family that lived near us in Chicago - a family close to my heart. Charlotte is full of beauty, energy, and life. She makes each room she enters brighter, full of light. I am so excited she said to being my flower girl. Just wait until you see her dress!
Ring Bearer
Christopher has had to compete with this little guy for my affections several times as Ian captured my heart early on. Full of personality and character, Ian truly stirs love and laughter in any heart that encounters him. I cannot count the amount of times he has made my day with a simple smile or hilarious comment. He is going to fill our wedding ceremony with the precious gift of child like joy! Plus, you can never go wrong with a fire red headed ring bearer.
