Founded in 1931, Albinelli Market is a popular food market that houses many vendor stands selling meat, cheese, produce, fresh pasta, pastries, jams, and so much more. It is a great place to pick up some bread, meats, and cheese to make a light lunch. There are also three restaurants inside the market and our favorite was L’Antica Bottega.

This is one of our favorite cafes in Modena this is famous for their gnocco fritto, a Modenese specialty! You can order gnocco fritto with a cappuccino or with a cured meat such as prosciutto or mortadella.
