We met on a dating app called Hinge. Christine liked Sam's cute smile and Sam liked Christine's laugh and warm happiness. After chatting for a couple weeks, we met for dinner at Brio and then went to Main Event to play games, where Christine beat Sam at almost every game. We had our second date 3 days later, & the rest is history!
Apparently Sam's original proposal plans were a little different than how it actually played out. (Thanks Corona!) We celebrated my birthday with take out from my favorite restaurant. After dinner, while I was in my best "quarantine outfit," which consisted of some sweatpants & a messy bun, Sam asked me to marry him, & I said YES! (Well, I think I did, I was so shocked & excited I had to double check with him a few times to make sure I actually said yes!) Quarantining should be great practice for marriage, right?!
When we're not at home catching up on reruns of The Office or Family Feud & snuggling with our pup Ellie, you can catch us at Penn State football games, belting out Billy Joel songs, or spending time with our awesome friends. Sam has successfully converted Christine to an Atlanta Braves fan, Christine is still trying to convince Sam to root for the Eagles.
Christine & Sam plan to spend part of their honeymoon chasing neon lights in Music City, then heading to Atlanta to cheer on the Braves at home!
