Maid of Honor

She was my first roommate and is my best friend-really she's more like my sister. And she was down to take a crazy trip to Belgium and Paris with me which was a total dream come true. She is the type of friend everyone should have- truly cares, truly listens, thinks of others before herself and tells corny jokes that keep you (and her) laughing.

Brittani Herndon

Maid of Honor

This girl has been my roommate for almost 7 years. She adds a little crazy and a lot of fun to literally everything we do and has been there to laugh and cry with me since we first became friends on my first trip to Thailand. Also she was the first person to tell me that Micah liked me :).

Malia Mason

We met when she started coming into my office to hang out at SDC when she was a student. Our passion for the Bible and ministry, Mexican food and shopping bonded us for life. This girl is truly my travel buddy. We have gone to Thailand, roadtripped up the coast of CA to San Francisco, camped in the snow in the Seqouias, and took a crazy three week trip to Uganda, Germany, Amsterdam and New York. Can't wait to see where we go next!

Rebeka Mellado

Another friendship born of an SDC student hanging out in my office in Admissions :). Rebeka is literally the best listener I know and gives sympathetic, wise, Godly advice. She is a rare mix of super funny and silly but still serious and deeply interested in the well-being of others. The two weeks I spent in Spain with her and her family gave me some of the best memories of my life.

We shared a room for a year and before and after that we shared lots of laughs and prayer and wisdom and encouragement. Helen has the absolute biggest heart of anyone I know. She is sold out for Christ and for passionate about making him known to others. She is like a whirlwind, she is always doing something and it's always big. She inspires me and encourages my heart every time I'm around her.

I spent 8 hours a day for 6 years in an office with this woman. We used to joke that we saw each other more than we saw anyone else on the planet. She was an amazing co-worker and I still miss her efficiency and genius every day in Admissions. But more than that, we have been through huge life-changing events with each other over the years-both good and bad, and I trust her with pretty much every thought that I have because she's heard them all.

Niki Jasso

My sassy but secretly sweet Hungarian :). I met her when she started working as a student worker in Admissions, and we bacame fast friends. She is straight-to-the-point, so funny, super supportive and made going to work every day something to look forward to. she and her husband Rio have become such a big part of Micah's and my life and one of our favorite things is going to their house so they can cook us dinner ;).
