Question
What should I wear to the wedding?
Answer
The dress code for the wedding is formal garden party! The ceremony and dinner will both take place outdoors, with indoor dancing later in the evening. Italy will be very warm in July so there is no need to wear dark suits if you will be uncomfortable! Keep in mind we will be on grass, gravel and uneven cobblestone, so pointy heels are not suggested. Block heels, platforms, wedges, flats etc. are all good choices. Bridesmaids will be dressed in light blue.

Do I need to plan for accommodations?
Answer
On-site accommodations at the villa will be provided from July 23rd to July 25th. Check in is at 4 PM on July 23rd and check out is at 9:30 AM on July 26th. If you are planning to arrive before or after those dates, you will need to plan for separate accommodations depending on your travel plans.

Do I need to rent a car?
Answer
The villa is located about 15 minutes from the nearest city. There are taxis in the area that can be easily arranged by the villa staff in advance for those who would prefer not to drive.

Is there food at the villa?
Answer
On the day of arrival, July 23rd, we will be hosting a pizza party welcome dinner. We will be providing a continental breakfast for everyone on July 24th and 25th (served in the main villa). A snack bar serving sandwiches, salads, and various drinks will be open on the 24th and 25th for the following hours: Monday- 12:30-2:30 PM Tuesday- 1-3 PM The day of the wedding (July 24th), we will enjoy a cocktail hour and dinner as part of the wedding celebration. All of the accommodations have kitchens/kitchenettes in case you would like to bring your own food items.

Answer
We are so very appreciative to all our friends and family that are joining us to celebrate in Italy, and your presence for our special day is the best gift that we could ask for. However, if you do want to contribute a gift, we have a registry with some options we would absolutely love.
