This hotel is ideal for those of you who want to spend the weekend primarily in Historic Williamsburg! It’s only a couple of minutes from Historic Williamsburg & 28 minutes from the venue. Rate: $84 a night Dates available: Friday, October 25th-Sunday, October 27th LAST DAY to book at this rate: Thursday, October 3rd. Check in: Officially starts at 4 PM & they prefer you check in before midnight. If you are going to arrive later than midnight be sure to call the hotel and let them know your situation! While this hotel is a little rougher around the edges than the other ones we have selected, it is ideally located on Historic Yorktown's Beach Front! :) Rate: $109 a night Dates available: Nights of October 25th & 26th. LAST DAY to book at this rate: October 1st (by midnight). After this, the rooms will be released to the public & the rate will no longer be guaranteed. Types of rooms available: 20 rooms with 2 double beds, 5 rooms with 1 king bed. Check in: 3 PM (Be sure to arrive & check in BEFORE midnight, otherwise you will not be able to check in for that night). Check out: 11 AM Booking information: Do NOT book your room online. In order to receive the $109 rate you must call the hotel at 757-898-3232 & give them the nights & wedding block code. If you only plan on staying 1 night be sure to tell them, otherwise when you make a reservation it will pop up as 2 nights. Check out: 12 PM Types of rooms available per night: 20 studio queen rooms. This means there is one queen bed & one pull out bed in each room. The pullout bed is about the size of a double bed. Booking information: In order to book your room, call the hotel & tell them you’d like to book under the Shreve Rodgers Wedding. This is the closest airport to our wedding venue (17 minutes), so definitely consider choosing this airport for your own convenience! :)

Norfolk International Airport (ORF)

This airport is a 34 minute drive from the venue without traffic. During certain times of the day though, it can certainly be more like an hour or more due to traffic! This airport also sometimes has less expensive flights than the Newport News/Williamsburg airport, so I’d definitely check it out for that reason. This is just another great option option for our flying guests!:)

Richmond International Airport (RIC)

This airport is 1 hour & 9 minutes to the venue. Due to Richmond being a bigger city, sometimes it is easier to find less expensive flights at this airport!

Sandy Bottom Nature Park

So this is actually a campsite fairly close to our venue! We wanted to add this because we know we have some adventurous, camping-loving friends who might be interested. We don’t have campsite blocks or anything like that, but if you’re interested in camping here I’d CALL them and book right away (their website is honestly kind of confusing). It’s about a 15-20 minute drive from the venue & it is soo beautiful. There is a fishing dock, long pathway through the woods, boats you can rent, a playground, & a dog park!

First Landing State Park

This is a campsite & park in Virginia Beach! It is beautiful & right by the water, but is a 53 minute drive from the venue (not including traffic). If you’re interested, I’d call them up & talk to them about their availability & pricing!☺️
