Below we have included a list of questions & answers that you may find helpful in preparing to attend or wedding!
Question

Will the wedding & reception be held in the same place?

Answer

Our venue is perfect for us because it allows for us to have our both wedding & reception onsite! Our wedding will take place outside on a beach at the edge of James River & our reception will take place in a room overlooking the water!

Question

Can I take pictures on my phone during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We will have an incredible wedding photographer & videographer the day of the wedding, so please refrain from taking pictures during the actual ceremony! Once we receive these photos & video footage we will be posting on our social media accounts! However, please do feel free to take pictures after the ceremony as concluded!:)

Question

What clothing should I wear?

Answer

Come join us in your favorite semi-formal attire! Feel free to dress up super fancy or to just dress up in your favorite dress, pant-suit, or button up shirt!

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

Due to the fact that our ceremony will take place on a sandy beach and dinner & dancing will take place on carpeted and hardwood floors, definitely select shoes that you will feel comfortable wearing! You may even bring two pairs of shoes if that is easier for you! :)

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The guest list is limited & so unless your date has been invited, we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate them. :( Please contact us if you have any further questions about this!

Question

Will food & drinks be provided at the reception? What kind?

Answer

There will be buffet-style barbecue! This will include: pulled pork, beef brisket, roasted vegetables, macaroni & cheese, cole slaw, & dinner rolls. We will also be providing unlimited iced tea, lemonade, coffee, & water as well!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please do! We want to ensure that we accommodate all of our guests well, so when you RSVP, please drop a note letting us know your dietary restrictions!

I am injured or have a chronic illness, is it possible to ask for special accommodations?

Answer

100% yes! Please let us know how we can make your day with us comfortable and relaxing!

Question

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

Check out the “travel” page of our website for airport & hotel block information!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered here on Zola & we have also created a wish-list for Urban Outfitters. If you go to the "registry" page on our website the Zola registry will pop right up & the Urban Outfitters wish-list will be located under the "urban outfitters" tab at the top of that page! :)

Question

If I have more questions, how can I contact you?

Answer

It would be best to contact either the bride or groom on our cellphones! For privacy reasons, we do not want to post these numbers on this page. If you do not have our numbers but you have our parents’ phone numbers, feel free to reach out to them and ask for ours!
