If you're coming from Southern Indiana...

~The venue is in eastern time- an hour ahead! ~Get a hotel; you won't regret it! ~If you ditch the GPS, take I-69 to SR 252 (exit 140), then you'll drive through where the bride grew up!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the "Places to Stay" tab for direct links. We have a hotel block at Hampton Inn & Suites- Franklin with a discounted rate! Our venue is near two other Franklin hotels, as well as many hotels like, Holiday Inn Express, in Edinburgh near the Indiana Premium Outlet Mall.

Can I bring a date/kids?

We are so thrilled to celebrate with the people closest to us, and we wish we could invite everyone! To keep the day intimate, your invitation is for you and the guests listed on your invitation only. If there’s someone special in your life we haven’t met yet, let’s definitely plan dinner soon! This occasion is reserved for those in our closest circle. Due to space and budget limitations, only the children of the wedding party or close family will be attending. Not sure if that includes you? Check your invitation! For everyone else, enjoy a kid-free evening- Miss Bay will be!

Our wedding venue blends garden charm with classic romance! We hope guests will dress dressy-casual: polished and comfortable. Be ready to celebrate a spring evening full of love, laughter, and dancing!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive with time to spare! Parking and walking to the garden ceremony may take several minutes. Doors will close promptly at the start, and late guests will be directed to the reception. Arriving about ten minutes early ensures your seat and participation in a pre-ceremony activity!

What can I expect?

Ceremony & Celebration Our ceremony starts promptly, so plan to arrive a bit early and soak in the moment! Afterward, relatives of Richard/Mary Wells and Elza/Barbra Bay will stay in the garden for a family photo- everyone else will join us inside. Cocktail Hour Head inside to the Community Building for drinks. Beer, wine, water, tea, and lemonade are on us! Reception When the ballroom opens, find your seat and enjoy a buffet of smoked meats and savory sides, plus a dessert table featuring family favorite cookies. Enjoy a few traditional reception events, and when the dance floor opens, the after-party begins! We’ll celebrate until last call at 9:00, and you might even find the bride and groom carrying the party to a local lounge afterward.
